"Unlock" button on mine was working intermittently until I took out the circuit board out of the FOB and cleaned printed circuit where the backside of the rubber buttons make contacts. It had black grime that looked like tar.I moved the key closer to dash, however that did not help. I always keep an extra key fob battery in my console, so I powered the car down and swapped the key fob battery. The car however would not recognize the key, saying "key not detected".
